I have now been the owner of my beautiful ivy French bulldog for just over 2 years. Ivy in that time has become crate trained and toilet trained. Although I live in an apartment I have a large balcony that ivy often relaxes on but is also trained to go to the toilet there, this is washed and cleaned daily. My apartment is open plan which means ivy has the run of the kitchen area living area and balcony in one! Ivy was extremely hard work when she was a baby and I have worked hard to ensure ivy is fully trained. I have had dogs from a very young age and come from a family of dog lovers! In my family (in other homes) we have a sausage dog, a chihuahua, a bulldog and French bulldogs, all which are now ivys family to! Training ivy from a puppy was very difficult and there was a lot of sleepless nights along the way, however ivy is now an extremely loving caring and happy little dog who loves being around people and other dogs!
