Over the past few years I have fostered dogs and cats. I grew up around animals and understand their complexities. I have also been house-sitting for years and know how to care for a dog and their home! I am willing to administer necessary medications and take dogs for long walks because I love being outdoors. I am a full time student with a flexible schedule. I am currently in college online at sarah lawrence and I have a very flexible schedule throughout the week. My best days are Friday- Sunday and all day wednesday. Having fostered and adopted both cats and dogs I understand how to care for a knew pet. I always make sure they have the necessities and feel comfortable in a new home. I have trained my 98lbs german shepherd and feel confident dealing with animals of all sizes and ages. I never use negative reinforcement or yelling to train animals, only patience and consistency.

I've known Antonia for a number of years and used to live with her at school. She is incredibly responsible and respectful of others time and space! She used to have a cat on campus, and always made sure that her cat was well taken care of and properly managed within the house we lived in. She is a huge animal lover, and is really great with other people's pets. I think she would be a fantastic pet sitter!

Let me know if your dog has trouble with peeing or pooping indoors. I live in an apartment so I need to be sure the dog can wait until we get to the yard floor to go potty. I am available to do very frequent bathroom breaks.
A typical day
I have been training my mom's German Shepherd since he was a puppy so I will definitely incorporate positive reinforcement with dogs while on walks, potty breaks, and in the home. I live next to a public park and would love to take a dog there to play fetch and practice commands. I work from home so your animal won't be left alone!
