Pet care experience
Hello, I am Antonia and originally from Germany. I am living in London and studying for my Masters at UCL. Additionally, I am a big dog and cat lover, I enjoy walking dogs and dealing with animals in general. I grew up with many pets around me, always two dogs and several cats. This helped me grow a loving attitude towards animals, and thus I consider myself being a very reliable, responsible and empathetic pet owner and also would like to incorporate this passion of mine in my life in London, where I miss my pets dearly who are living with my family in Germany. I already took care of many dogs in London, since I have lots of experience they have great trust in me. Whenever I am back in Germany I take my two dogs for long walks, and hope to be able to experience the lovely parks in and around London together with your furry best friends. I also gained experience through working in several animal welfare organizations and dog shelters in my home town in Germany. Antonia is a great help, taking my two Shihtzu's out for long walks in the area while I have been doing more hours at work. They always come back happy and worn out from a full afternoon of fun! It would be important to know if there’s certain things your dog is afraid of or dislikes, whether he’s okay to be off lead in the gated parks, if he’s got any allergies or medication, etc. to make sure your dog gets the best care possible.
A typical day
I’d love taking your doggie out for long walks in the big parks, play with them with the ball and do everything to make your dog feel loved and cared for. I’m moving into a house which has a lovely little gated garden, as well as Caledonian park right on my doorstep. Your dog will be welcomed like in his own home and will be made as comfortable as possible. He’s allowed to sleep on the bed/ sofa, but I also have a dog bed. I’ll be going out with your dog plenty of times for a pee and a round of sniffing, and once a day we would go to one of the big parks to have a long walk of around 3 hours (or less or more, depending on the age and activity level of your doggie).
