I've always been the type of person that's charmed by the natural world. Growing up, my family had a lot of pets. There were dogs, cats, birds and even gerbils. I was in charge of taking care of seven dogs (3 jack russells, a german shepherd, labrador, chihuahua and a mutt). That really cemented in me a sense of bond, even kinship with animals. In fact, even though they are animals, I've always had a unique connection, especially with dogs. I moved to NYC about 4 years ago and I have been walking and watching over friends' dogs in the city simply because that's what made me feel connected to nature. So I'm definitely no stranger to dog-walking and caring and I'm simply trying to do more of it. Dogs are awesome and I love being around them, anywhere!
