Every dog needs a second home, especially one with a spacious interior, a fenced backyard, and with no other kids or pets. In terms of experience, I have owned a dog for three years (maltese/terrier mix) and have cared for two dogs since I moved into our home. I am home Thursday to Saturday so I can provide your dog a lot of attention, whether that is extra walks, playing fetch outside, or just cuddling while I am watching a movie or reading. I work from Sunday to Wednesday but can make sure that your pet has ample food, water, and access to the backyard while I am gone. Our house never exceeds 84 degrees even without A/C so your pet(s) will be comfortable during my absence. The house is also clean of any chemicals or foods that can hurt your dog. The backyard is fenced all around with a locked gate so escape artists will have to find some other profession. I also have experience in bathing and providing medication to dogs. The things I like to know about a dog before caring for them. 1. Is your dog able to escape? 2. Do they have any special dietary needs? 3. Are they allowed treats? 4. IMPORTANT: Does your dog bark at night? This is important since my girlfriend works long shifts and does need her sleep 5. Do they have any special medical needs? 6. Any specific instructions or tips (i.e. getting the leash on, feeding, discipline) Let me know if there is anything else I need to know about your dog.
