I just finished my first year at veterinary school where I learned basic anatomy, physiology, animal welfare, and physical diagnosis techniques. I also volunteer at my university's small animal clinic that treats emergency cases. I previously worked at an animal emergency center when I was at Fresno State for my undergraduate degree in animal science. At the emergency center I practice assessing patients and triage. I also interned at a family practice where I shadowed the veterinarian and witnessed treatments of common illnesses. I currently work as a junior life guard instructor and work from 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday but after that I am free the rest of the day and all weekend. I also have had dogs my entire life and currently have two dogs of my own.
