Pet care experience
I started fostering bottlefed kittens at 8 years old and continued until I opened my own neonatal hospice care cat rescue as a teenager, in which I became known for curing kittens of feline distemper. I've also fostered dogs for a few years now on and off, as well as worked as a kennel tech in a boarding facility, where I was praised for my cleanliness, playfulness, and efficiency while caring for the dogs! I've specialized in hospice care animals, bottefed/neonatal animals, senior animals, disabled animals, and animals with mild to severe behavioral issues; there's nothing your pet has in store that I can't handle. I'm also very experienced in medication, vaccine, and insulin administration as well for kiddos that need a little extra care!

In a client's home I like to keep everything clean and off the floor/out if reach, I will clean very often and make sure there's nothing to get into if/when I'm away between potty breaks. When I'm in the home for potty breaks, dogs will go out to go potty (or I'll scoop the box for kitties at that time) and I will check again for messes or damages the pet may have made while I was away; once that's all done it's officially play time! For pets who need 24/7 care, I like to just be available with them at all times and hang out, they're under constant supervision. During play times for both, I'll take time to bond with tour pet and play or snuggle with them if they allow it! For busier pets I may bring a puzzle toy from my own collection to provide some stimulation and make sure they're not left bored or restless.

The first most important thing is if a pet needs medications on a schedule, I always need to tale good notes beforehand for the safety of the pet! Other than that I just need to know if the dog needs extra time or allowances to bond with me, like if a dog is a bite risk or has past traumas to avoid triggering and things. Lastly, I just appreciate anything you have to say about their personalities and what they like but it's not required!
A typical day
I have personal puzzle toys I like to bring, as well as just playing with their own favorite toys! I also take weekly trips to the dog park for able and friendly dogs, as well as walks around the neighborhood! I also just love teaching tricks to pups allowed to have treats for those high energy dogs that need the extra stimulation.
