Hello, my name is Anthony and I'm an experienced dog handler living in Edgewater, Chicago! A couple of years ago I worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility as a dog handler and through this experience, I've learned how to understand a dog's needs, pick up after them, give them meds, play with them, and care for them! I've also had dogs throughout my childhood and adolescence. I genuinely love this species more than any other but haven't gotten my own yet due to moving around year to year. I miss their presence, and love Rover for giving me the opportunity to have that, while also taking good care of your family member. After working at a dog daycare I can guarantee that your dog will get much more one-on-one personal care and attention than any business would provide. Anthony and Heather were the best!! They took great care of Winston (our 2yo high-energy golden) and they sent updates every day! They played fetch with Winston and spent lots of time entertaining him. He came home extremely happy and he looked cleaner when we picked him up than when we dropped him off! :) I would definitely use them to sit for our baby again and I highly recommend them to anyone who has a dog that needs lots of cuddles and exercise! You’re fur baby is in great hands with Anthony and Heather!
Anthony was so great! Miki is pretty shy around new people so I was a little nervous, but Anthony was very understanding of this and good with him. We got a picture everyday and updates on how Miki was doing in a new place! I felt very comfortable leaving Miki with him and would definitely do it again.
Anthony did a great job watching my active, 2 yrs old Golden Retriever. He is very responsive and a responsible. I highly recommend him to care for your pet.
When our usual sitter cancelled, we panicked. Leaving our babies with someone new made us extremely nervous, but honestly we couldn’t be happier that our sitter ended up cancelling on us. Anthony is AMAZING, he went above and beyond what we expected and is now our preferred sitter. We have two dogs (Willow and Winston), which are so sweet but high energy and don’t initially get along very well with new dogs. Anthony took them on a 10+ mile hike, to multiple parks and outdoor activities and most amazingly to his family’s home where he slowly introduced them to his parent’s dogs and got them to be friends and play all day in a fenced yard. He was also great at communicating and shared lots of pictures with us while we were on our trip.

I love to take your dogs on walks, as there's so many new smells to sniff! There's a dog park nearby so if your dog is okay playing with others we will definitely stop by! Lastly, my apartment complex has a cute little backyard area that is fenced in! That will allow me to play with your dog in the backyard with no worries!
