Pet care experience
PET CARE EXPERIENCE Cheng and I (Tony) have taken care of our dogs for 6 years now. We both grew up wanting dogs but weren't able to have them as a part of our family until we were adults. We have two dogs: 1) Loki is a border collie/australian shepherd rescue from Alabama and is about 6 years old; 2) Lilah is a pure golden retriever from a conformation breeder in Tennessee and is almost 2 years old. We have a variety of diverse experiences when it comes to dog care and it all comes down to treating them as an irreplaceable part of our family: 1) We are currently training Lilah to pass the American Kennel Club's (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test to become an AKC Therapy Dog. 2) We have raised both Loki and Lilah from puppyhood and so are very familiar with the time, effort, and skills it takes to develop positive habits and behaviors at that age. 3) We have trained our pups extensively. Some examples include: heeling, recall, and complicated tricks. 4) Our family is very active and we consistently exercise our pups outside with balls, frisbees, swimming, fetch, running, hiking, etc. 5) We have experience in using prong and e-collars in conjunction with training in the past. 6) We have many mental stimulation games, such as nose work, hide-and-seek, etc. 7) We are very comfortable with caring for dogs with different dispositions. Lilah is the typical golden retriever and is very easy to care for. Loki possesses the border collie intelligence and is very particular so we are accustomed to increased and structured training. 8) We certainly don't know everything so we're always looking to improve our skills and learn how to better take care of our pups!
Reviews
This couple are absolutely awesome with dogs. They’ve got 2 of their own, and one is as playful as can be. They also clearly keep an eye on the pups to make sure everything is going smoothly during their stay. Very much appreciate and recommend them!
Zephyr was well taken care of! We appreciated the photos and updates. We’d definitely book with Anthony again. Thank you!
This was Rocky’s second time staying with Tony. We couldn’t ask for a better family to take care of him. They also have a Golden Retriever so Rocky and Lilah are constantly playing through all the pics and videos we see! We will deff be back for a third time! Thank you both!
Rocky had a wonderful time with Tony and Cheng! He also loved Lilah! The picture updates were helpful as this was ur first time leaving our dog with someone. They made us feel super comfortable! We’ll be back again next month!

Safety, trust & environment
SAFETY, TRUST, & ENVIRONMENT We have a lot of flexibility for dog care in our home! 1) We have a 300 sq.ft. basement floor dedicated for the dogs that is connected to a fenced-in backyard with grass. The basement has a place cot as well. 2) In the basement, we also have an extra-large, collapsible, metal crate and an extra-large travel carrier. 3) On the second floor, we have a metal playpen set up in the dining room that is directly connected to a 2nd extra-large, collapsible, metal crate. 4) We have access to a nearby grass field where we usually take our pups to play. We also have a locked tennis court where we've taken our pups to play as well. Safety is of the utmost priority in our care as we treat our own pups like family. For each of the above locations, we can modify the contents of the space to meet the needs of your pet. Trust and a positive environment is an absolute must to create a comfortable environment for your pet. We operate with full transparency and will honor any commitments and promises fully. We will treat your pup(s) as we treat ours!

Information Anthony H. would like to know about your pet
Please let us know if there are any special considerations we need to take into account! Your pet is just like your child and we want to treat them to the best ability we can! If your dog likes certain treats, toys, activities, locations, and/or a scratchy spot, just let us know!
A typical day
We take lots of videos and pictures of your pet when they stay with us! A great and easy way of sharing is through Google Photos and we'll share an album with you. We've provided photos and videos through a Google Photos album for all of our clients (even though Rover shows 70% at the moment). There are two loops around the neighborhood that we normally take our dogs walkie on. There's a 1 mile loop that is less frequented by other dogs. There's also a 0.5 mile loop that passes through the popular spots in the neighborhood. We take our pups to two places to pay outside: 1) a large grass field; and 2) a fenced-in tennis court. Depending on how busy it is, we can take your pet to one of the two! It is also super important to ensure your pup has mental stimulation so we can play a few games if there is inclement weather outside

Availability
SCHEDULE We are available most days of the week for dog day care, boarding, and walking. We have the most flexibility during the weekdays. I (Tony) am a hybrid worker and I go into the office ~1 day per week. The other 4 days I work from home so I am completely available all day for dog care. At least 1 of us are available during the weekends with Sunday having the most flexibility. We already structure our lives around providing the best care to our pups! They are walked 3 times a day: 2 walks of ~1 mile and a midday walk of ~0.5 miles. They are taken out into our backyard before sleeping as well. We then take them exercising or do mental stimulation at home every 3 days at most.
