We are a wonderfully fun and active family of four, and puppy makes five (none of us are bounty hunters or from the Dark Side). We are a mom and dad who are active in our late 40's and we have a set of very responsible 17 year old twins. Our kids are great with dogs of all sorts. They, in fact, help with all dog chores including, feeding, walking and even cleaning up after. I am a work from home dad so your pup will always have someone around, and will never be treated like banta fodder here at Luke's Cantina! We are all dog (and Wookie) lovers and regularly walk and play with our dog Luke (as in Skywalker). Luke gets along with almost any friendly dog. He is sweet and gentle and is an elderly dog at this point that really just enjoys cuddling, sleeping, and treats. When he does play it’s in short bursts. He is not an active Skywalker like he used to be so if you are looking for a playmate Luke is not interested, but will sit back and watch other dogs play. Due to Luke’s age we tend to take in dogs that are older and less active. So if this is more your speed please send us a request. We accept most requests from our repeat customers, but are always open to new pups. So bring your pup over to Luke's Cantina where he or she can run and play with all of us and perhaps even get a chance to meet a real live taun taun. Ok, I made that last part up, but I wish!!! Your pup will have fun and be well taken care of, like they are one of our own! One important note is that we only host one family's dog or dogs at a time. We feel this works best for everyone. Also, we currently are unable to take in dogs under 3 years old.
