Pet care experience
Animals have always been a big part of my life. I find great joy and satisfaction in earning the trust of a pet, as well as its owner. I have cared for the pets of family and friends since I was in high school. The home I have most regularly cared for has 20 chickens, 3 dogs, 5 cats, and a couple fish tanks. I feel that I am no stranger to the attentiveness that pets can require. I have dealt with stubborn senior pets, who need to be coerced into taking their medicine when they prefer not to. And I have dealt with puppies who hold more pee than what makes sense for the size of their bladders- and who also have more energy than what their tiny little bodies can contain. I have had dogs of my own- and my current home houses 4 cats. I am confident that no matter the pet and its needs, I am a reliable, trustworthy individual that can manage whatever the case may be. I am a very routine person, who takes curveballs well- and I am very proud of my punctuality and attention to detail. With me taking care of your home, I am confident you will feel safe and worry-free, so that you can enjoy or handle whatever you are enjoying or handling.

Anthony has watched our animals many times and does a fine job! We have dogs and cats- and does a great job looking after them.
Anthony has stayed at our home and cared for our pets multiple times. He does a fantastic job managing our three dogs and many chickens. He is great about sending updates and responding to any special requests. When we return home, our house always looks just like we left it. I highly recommend him!

My home is essentially centered around the cats. It is their world and we are living in it. They get plenty of play time, many cat trees and cat toys for entertainment, a healthy amount of treats, and they eat better than me. I also had a husky for one year that I rescued- and have since rehomed. She was extremely high maintenance and there was a lot of care involved. She got to experience a fenced in back yard- instead of living in a cage. She got regular, healthy meals- instead of being thrown scraps and raw meat. And she got to play and be a puppy for once- instead of being used and abused for breeding. I would happily go into more detail on the circumstances and show her transformation from a dying dog- to happy and healthy. I think it is a testament to how I see and treat animals

I am pretty open to managing whatever situation or needs your pet has. If there are very specific and routine guidelines to follow such as feeding/medication times, bathroom breaks, walking routes, behavioral patterns/abnormalities, etc.- I can work with that, so long as I receive the proper communication and details necessary. Nobody wants an overly stressed pet!
A typical day
I’m a very active individual, so I can guarantee they will stay active and entertained under my care. I love being outdoors so if it is walks, runs, or playing fetch in the backyard- I can definitely accommodate that. I love a good game of tug of war as well. But if they are more of a lap dog, calm and relaxed, I can offer many pets and couch time.

Availability
I work Monday-Friday from 5:30am-12pm. Some days I get out earlier and some are later. Never later than 1:30pm. I have a very flexible schedule in the sense that if I need to do a quick drop in during my work day, that could be a realistic possibility. I have weekends off and I have a very open schedule for the rest of the day during the week.
