I am a retired Dietitian, mother of 4 girls and grandmother to 1 granddaughter. I have had several dogs and all but one of them were rescues. For the last 3 years I have fostered and adopted dogs from Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary (OFSDS), who specialize in rescuing dogs over 10 years of age. Most of these rescues had health issues and required special care, for conditions such as heart and renal disease. So, I have skills and experience in administering a variety of medications and special diets. For the last 20 years I have made my own dog food and all my dogs have flourished on it. Currently I have an 11 year old white Chihuahua named Precious (also from OFSDS), who has chronic Colitis and requires daily medication. We go for regular walks at Radnor Lake and the Warner Parks.

Anthea is wonderful and very caring with animals and especially dogs. She has cared and loved for many of her own dogs, as well as fostered and adopted dogs from the Old Friends senior dog sanctuary for several years. She is reliable, and trustworthy and responsible.
Anthea is a genuine and loving mother and Grandmother who treats her dogs as part of her family. She has fostered and adopted many dogs over the years, helped to transport a rescued puppy from the Humane Society on Cozumel Island Mexico to the USA to be adopted, and looked after my dog while I moved here from Canada. She makes her own dogfood for the older dogs tender tummy's, makes sure they are groomed and cared for at the vet, exercised and have an appropriate doggy wardrobe for cold weather. Her dogs get snuggles and sleep on the bed and adore her. Any dog that is lucky enough to be cared for by Anthea will think they are in doggie heaven. She is a trustworthy conscientious person and I highly recommend her for anyone who loves their dog and wants to make sure they are safe and loved.
