Pet care experience
I grew up around working and companion dogs in the Hampshire countryside and have frequently been solely responsible for both my family's and friend's dogs since the age of 10. My family currently own a wire haired daschund (Teckel) called Riki Tiki. I have a big soft spot for labs and daschunds! I work best with medium to large dogs with at least a basic level of training, I'm 6'6 and have the energy of a pack leader 🐕🐕 I have no experience dealing with aggressive or very anxious dogs. Very happy to speak on the phone or meet up prior to arranging anything.

I became acquainted with this gentleman through a family friend who suggested he would be an appropriate guardian for my cocker spaniel. I was pleasantly surprised at his enthusiasm and kind nature, Amber was instantly attached (this is a feat as she doesn't normally like men, especially those that are over 6 feet tall!). He took her for a decent walk around Hyde Park and she came back rejuvenated and ready for dinner and a nap She has never slept better! I cannot recommend Ant enough - I would definitely trust him with Amber again, in fact I hope he is available in the new year to look after my lovely spaniel when my work resumes. Thank you Ant!
Ant is a calm, responsible and caring dog sitter and walker. My animals have both responded well to his observant and sensitive nature, and are always glad to see him. I trust him completely with my dogs.

A typical day
A walk first thing in the morning, at lunch and if a particularly high energy dog, again before bed! My family dog gets fed once a day at 5pm but also gets a handful of crunchies in the morning. However, all dogs have different needs and I go with the owner's preference!

I work from home two days a week (every day in March/April) and will be available for daytime walks. When in the office I am away from 0800 to 1830
