Pet care experience
Hey! My name is Anshu and I have 5+ years of personal experience caring for my family’s dog (a lovely and cuddly maltipoo). My girlfriend and I lived in East Harlem for about two years and I’ve helped her host and take care of all kinds of dogs. We just moved to an apartment in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn that is 15 minutes away from Prospect Park. I really miss my dog back at home and with extra time on my hands and a need to pay for grad school, I figured I would hop on Rover and start hosting/dog walking myself!

Anshu and his girlfriend Ingrid are great! Stormzy quickly connected with them and had a great walk. Ingrid was able to get Stormzy at ease even though he’s not the biggest fan of wet weather.
Anshu walked and took care of our dog for a few days, and we could not be more satisfied with the service. Our pup immediately took a liking to him. He gave him great walks and even took him to the park to play. The service was above and beyond. I highly recommend Anshu, and will definitely be working with him again in the future!

Anshu was the man! He swooped in and saved me in a pinch. I was out of town and he helped meet up with the person who was watching my dog and made it all happen, even picking up his food and essentials on the way. Literally couldn’t have asked for a better experience. 12/10 experience. Can’t recommend Anshu enough!

We live in a safe apartment that has a spacious living room and lots of light/warmth. Additionally there are multiple parks including Prospect Park that is walking distance away so your pet will not be missing out on getting outdoors!

Please inform me of any “quirks” or behaviors I should be aware of to properly take care of your dog so I can make sure I establish an environment he/she feels comfortable in. Additionally I would like to know whether or not your dog can be left alone (as I’ve taken care of many dogs with separation anxiety).
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. I love fetch, walking around the neighborhood and Prospect Park, and I might even be able to teach him/her a few tricks! Depending on your dog’s personality, I can easily adjust the activities to make them feel they’re at home.
