My love of all animals began at an early age while participating the 4H program. I Grew up around farms and parks. I fell in love with dogs thru raising and training Seeing Eye Dogs for the blind from the age of 5-17yrs of age. I am married & we have raised 6 children as a blended family. For the last 13 yrs I was a canine facility manager and earned my canine CPR certification, I currently have a few canine clients that I care for while their family is away. I am passionate about educating owners and love to share my knowledge and experiences with them. I excel in understanding canine body language, which allows me to care for all types of canine temperament. I have experience with administering medications and first aid, if needed.

AMAZING ANNMARIE is truly gifted in connecting with and understanding dogs. I've never seen anything like it. Somehow she understands what they're thinking and knows the best way to be towards a dog whatever their needs may be. She is so fun loving and gentle in her approach. I've even seen her calm a dog down while hearing nearby target practice. Dogs just love her and I've seen firsthand why.
Annemarie was absolutely amazing! We have an older dog with separation anxiety issues and she immediately had him at ease and crawling in her lap. We left very early in the morning and she made a point to be here to ensure a smooth transition. We got daily photos and updates and had such a sense of peace knowing he was being so well taken care of. She even did a little training with him! Will definitely be calling again!
Annmarie is truly a trustworthy person to care for your fur baby. She took such great care of our dog like her own. She is amazing and you can feel safe knowing Annmarie is caring for your dog. I know it’s hard to trust people but Annmarie is so caring and wonderful.

Due to allergies in my home, I am only available to pet sit in your home. After our initial conversation, we will set up a meet & greet depending on your dogs' temperament. I will be happy to visit your home to discuss the details of your home that are relevant to the care of your pet. I have experience with invisible fences/ collars. I prefer fenced in properties, although I tend to go outside with your baby at all times to ensure of their safety. I like to know about the fuzzy neighborhood friends and foes to ensure safe and relaxing walks. I believe in major cuddle time, so I sometimes camp out on the floor with them! All my furry clients prefer this! I love to play all types of games with them as well.

I will discuss all of your preferred instructions for your pet at our initial meeting. I require my clients to notify their veterinarian of the dates that I am caring for your pets. Please be honest if your canine has ever displayed any aggression toward people, dogs, cats. I am trained to handle these types of behaviors, so no need to hide this from me!
A typical day
I always allow my furry clients to communicate their preferred exercise options. I can play all sorts of mind stimulating games and training activities. Playing fetch, tug-o-war, or just a relaxing walk could be on your dog's itinerary for the day! I also love giving doggie massages to help ease stress while you are away! I never skimp on the cuddle sessions!
