Hi! First of all, thank you for considering me and my family to take care of your dog(s). I've always been a huge animal lover, I grew up with dogs and cats and have rescued my own cat (who's no longer with us, sadly) and dog as an adult. My partner is the same, and we have 2 daughters (10 and 13) who LOVE animals and would be thrilled by the prospect of having more around. I myself have worked professionally with animals for years, both at farm animal sanctuaries and animal shelters. I currently am a volunteer at the Oakland Animal Shelter. We live in a spacious home in the Oakland Hills with a fenced in yard, and our lives revolve around our beloved rescue dog, Logan. He's a 5-6 year old golden retriever who LOVES other dogs and could use some playmates! We take him hiking and/or running everyday and would love to have your pup join us on our outings, if that's something that they'd be interested in. My partner and I are also both vegan, and compassion for animals is what guides our lives, and our approach to your furry friend would be no different. Both of us have used Rover countless times, so we understand what it means and how it feels to trust somebody else with your family member, and would not take this responsibility lightly.
