I grew up in a dog-loving family and have had dogs (labs and hounds) all my life. I am enrolled in the vet tech program at BRCC and have worked as a vet assistant since early 2019. I am especially interested in animal behavior and rescue organizations. I previously worked in boarding kennels (Wakefield kennel and the Dogg house), on farms, and more recently at a fox hunting kennel where I helped care for 70 hound dogs. I have a bachelors degree in psychology from Roanoke college (‘13). I have several years of experience dog and farm sitting. I take pride in my strong work ethic and I thoroughly enjoy spending time caring for animals. I like to spend my free time being outside, horseback riding, swimming, and playing with my dogs; Chief and Lasher. I am very reliable and will be happy to provide references upon request.
