Pet care experience
I have owned and cared for dogs and cats my whole life, and have pet sat and walked for the last 11 years. I really love dogs and cats, and have owned and worked with any dogs from chihuahuas to great danes. I’ve cared for cats of all breeds and sizes. I am a college student at George Washington University, and I'm pretty far away from my dogs at home. I own one cat here in DC, a 5 year old domestic shorthair named Sofia. She is spayed, litter box trained, and an absolute sweetheart. She does very well with other cats and dogs. Working for Rover allows me to get the puppy fix I need, and it helps me destress when I care for pets. I find caring for pets to be very therapeutic, and I would be honored to be able to continue caring for animals while I'm here in DC. I would love to share the love and experience I have with your pets!

My cat, Robin, stayed at Annie's place for a week. She was nice and responsive whenever I reached out. However, I would have liked more communication from her. I had to request for updates and photos during the week she and her roommate while watched over Robin. I also discovered pee on the cat bed after picking Robin up and I wish that would've been communicated to us. Overall, Robin was taken care of and Annie was very flexible with scheduling and modifying my itinerary.
Annie was great. My dog had a stomach issue while I was away for a week. She was very communicative, contacted the vet, and adjusted his diet accordingly. Everything was better when I returned. Highly recommend Annie and will be my go-to whenever she's available.
Annie is a kind and communicative pet sitter. I was very stressed about leaving my dog for a few days because he was having an arthritis flare up, and Annie helped put me at ease by sending me updates and pictures of him having fun. Thanks Annie!
Once again, Annie did a wonderful job with our senior cat. He developed some GI problems right before we left, and Annie got him back on track with her concern and caring. She kept him on a strict schedule with his medication and special diet. She kept in close contact with us, which we really appreciated. Everything was neat and tidy when we returned, and, most importantly, our cat was bright-eyed and back on track!

A typical day
On walks with me, we will have lots of fun! I will take advantage of this beautiful city and do exploring with your dog! I'll go to the safest and most fun areas around the neighborhood, and make sure your dog has a great time.
