Although we can watch any dog, our home is especially welcoming for smaller breeds since both our pups are under 40lbs. We have a calm and comfortable environment with cozy pet beds so senior age pups really enjoy it here too. I work from home full time so I always have a watchful eye on all pets. My soon to be husband works for our in-home business. We utilize baby gates in the house as needed. For example, during meal times to help keep each dog feeling comfortable while they eat, or if one dog is too tired but another wants to keep playing. We have first hand experience with puppies as we raised our own two dogs from 6 week old puppies. We believe in positive reinforcement and leading with a calm demeanor. Dogs needs to feel safe and secure when learning.

My puppy was so well taken care of. She enjoyed all the interaction with the other dogs. She must have played hard because she’s been very relaxed and lazy since we brought her home. I would definitely use Annie and her husband again.

Rosie is playful but sets & understands boundaries very well. Some dogs are less willing to play because of their anxiety or older age, etc, and Rose has learned this. She’ll keep away if they give signs and will gently show them that she’s here to be their friend. She’ll give kisses to their head if they’ll let her! If/when your dog is willing, Rose loves to play so you’ll pick up a tired, happy dog :) We promise lots of attention, interaction and cuddles. Rosie promises lots of playtime & a friendship with your pup (hopefully a recurring one)!

I’ve administered many doses of oral medications (mostly with PB), and am open to other types, just let me know what’s needed. Please share other pertinent information about feeding amounts & meal times, what your dogs typical behaviors are and what their at home nighttime routine is (where they sleep, etc).
A typical day
We do not use kennels unless provided by the owner. Kennels can be dangerous for dogs’ not trained on them. Please let me know if yours are crate trained or if you’d like them to be someday. If there’s any tension between dogs, instead of kenneling, we separate them into their own spaces using baby gates. Rose has a positive association with her crate and feels safe in it so that’s where we put her if needed.

Your dog will get plenty of outside time! We let the dogs out frequently so they can exercise their limbs, bathe in the sun, and watch the birds. We have several types of outside and inside toys for playing! No need to pack any unless they are a teething puppy :) Please do pack a few treats however as this is helpful for positive association. The treats you pack will be only given to your dog.
