For The Love of a Pooch. Located near LAX. Since 2002 I have had Cocker Spaniels. Both of my boys ended up with Special Needs. My first, Rusty, lost his eyes. As part of his retraining of commands, I started baking (see below). Because of Rusty's demeanor, he would reach out to children with special needs and eventually became a Therapy Dog. He was an extraordinary life. I am a better person for having known and loved him. His spirit is always here in the house. Rocco was the shelter dog who welcomed all the new dogs, especially the most timid. He broke his back a few months after he came to live with me. After surgery we did the therapy and my boy learned how to walk and run again. We still have challenges, so we "take em as they come." I love calm dogs, can take care of Special Needs dogs, and love senior dogs. As I mentioned above, after Rusty lost his first eye, Started baking treats and eventually went into the, dog bakery business making healthy treats and studying canine nutrition. I sold great tasting biscuits. I sold at Certified Farmer's Markets, speciality pet food stores, & Whole Foods Markets from Los Angeles to San Diego. Eventually I began teaching canine nutrition and dog food making classes at Certified Farmers Markets, Whole Foods and stores throughout Southern California. I just watched, Dr Marty's video on nutrition and my recipe is, "right on" for ingredients!! We look forward to having your boy or girl in our happy home and providing the same love and care that, Rocco and Rusty before him receive every minute of every day.
