Pet care experience
I first started caring for other peoples' animals when I was 11 years old. I made my own (very bad) website, and filled my parents' garden with hutches and runs, looking after rabbits and guinea pigs primarily. When I started university in 2017, I began looking after cats and dogs through a different pet care site (Tailster). I've cared for breeds from chihuahuas to huskies, and adapt my style of care based on the stimulation and attention they require. I adore animals; I currently live on a boat but if I had more space I'd be tempted to adopt my own dog (or two, or three...). I have my own mischievous tuxedo cat called Jeeves, who is skilled in nighttime gymnastics and turning on taps. Consequently, I cannot offer overnight stays or day boarding on the boat. Your dog wouldn't come back the same. I'm new to the Rover platform, but looking forward to getting started and meeting your pet!

Annie was great with Koji from the moment she met him and I could tell he was at ease around her so felt really comfortable. During her visit with Koji, Annie kept me well informed and sent photo updates and I could see Koji was really happy and being well cared for. Annie is the pet sitter of dreams. She came to meet me and my dog storm first and I immediately felt super comfortable and knew that storm would be in good hands. Storm is quite an energetic gal, and can be a handful - annie is amazing. Took storm for long walks, gave her lots of cuddles and sent regular updates so I didn’t have to stress. I couldn’t recommend Annie more highly !

I'm well-versed in caring for less active, senior dogs, as well as reactive dogs on the other end of the spectrum. I've looked after dogs of all sizes, ages, and walks of life. What I would ask of you is that you're 100% up-front about any behavioural issues or special needs. It'll work out best for all of us (you, me, and your pet) in the long run! In addition, I'd like to know if there are any pre-existing conditions or injuries which may need special adjustments.
A typical day
By the time your dog comes back home, I'll ensure they've been mentally and physically stimulated! This will include a lot of playing and running around, exploring the local area. Cats are a different can of worms, and I'll play and engage with them within their comfort zone. Even if that means sitting opposite each other, not interacting at all until they've deemed me worthy.
