Pet care experience
I've been surrounded by animals of all kinds for truly all 27 living years of my life! I've had the absolute joy of having multiple dogs and cats as beloved members of the family throughout my lifetime, and I've taken care of the animal companions of neighbors and friends while they were away ever since I was a child. I worked as a part-time veterinary technician for several years throughout my undergraduate studies, and proceeded to work full-time during my gap year prior to the start of my veterinary education. I'm currently only a month away from graduating from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine where I have had the pleasure of providing care for patients of all shapes, sizes, ages, and health statuses, so I'm fully confident in being able to provide excellent care for any dog or cat that comes my way!

Annie has been my go to pet sitter for years. She is incredibly caring and goes out of her way to be there for my dog in the ways that matter the most! She is so communicative with me- sends me pictures and takes her on adventures (hiking, long walks, runs, she even took her to pet smart once to pick out goodies). Annie is like no other! My dog is a high energy cattle dog with reactivities and Annie is so amazing with her- attune to her sensitivities and even goes out of her way to train her! I truly could not ask for better hands to leave my girl when I’m away and having Annie as a pet sitter gives me peace of mind knowing my girl is being so well taken care of! Annie is also very experienced with giving medications and injections to both cats and dogs and she is a veterinary student- so I know if something were to go awry Annie would take action. Again- I can’t recommend Annie enough!! The only thing to be aware of is Annie charges a little higher than average but wow it is SO worth it for the phenomenal and quality care.
There is no one better to care for your pet than Annie. She is the most caring and compassionate animal lover I have ever met and she has more experience working with animals than annieone I know. Annie is responsible, dependable, and affectionate but above all she has a deep love for all things furry and four-legged. I would trust her with annie of my pets and I recommend her highly as a dog caregiver.
Annie is incredible with dogs! She has watched my pups numerous times and has always provided excellent service. She seems to have a natural talent with animals, and I know she has several pets of her own. Annie is planning on attending veterinary school in the future and definitely knows her way around animals. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs in her care!
I'm so glad we are able to find Annie as our dogsitter! My family and I have gotten to know her for about 6 months now. She is always enthusiastic and totally adores giving love and attention to our goldens like they were her own, which I would say are the biggest reasons why we keep coming back to her. It makes sense since Annie has taken care of her own two dogs for years, so she has a good amount of experience in knowing what it takes to be a responsible dog caregiver. And her passion shows! Our dogs absolutely love her whenever she comes by to look after them for us. Anytime we'll need someone to take care of our furry friends, we can reliably call on Annie to help us out!

I will always ensure that your pets are within a secure, controlled environment, ensuring that doors/gates are closed/locked and harmful items stored away as necessary. Dogs will certainly be kept on-leash at all times on walks unless in a safe or enclosed environment.

A typical day
Whatever your pet loves to do most or needs for fulfillment, I am more than happy to provide. That might include long walks (or even runs!) around the block, visits to the dog park, playing fetch or frisbee, playing with cat toys, setting up enrichment toys, or training with treats. If you just let me know what your hopes and expectations are of how I can best stimulate your dog/cat, we can discuss if it will be feasible within the given timeframe I have available!

I'm currently still in the process of completing my clinical rotations and will most likely be available in the evenings on weekdays, or through the weekend (Friday evening to Sunday evening). I'm happy to discuss a schedule that works best for you while also working with my school schedule!
