Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and cats in my family my whole life and have always had neighbors and family friends rely on me to pet sit their animals. Dogs are way more than just pets to me. They're definitely a part of the family. I have experience with special needs dogs, as we had one rescue who had been in the pound for two years. The poor kid was scared of EVERYTHING. I also have experience with energetic, rambunctious dogs. We had a Belgian Malinois who never settled down and needed constant attention and training. He made messes because he was a 60-pound dog who thought he was the size of our cat, but he was a huge, snuggling baby if he got in trouble. I love all pets like they are my own, as I understand they are a part of the family, and I will treat your pet like it is family to me.

A typical day
I love hiking anywhere, especially parks. I will let your dog sniff and bird-watch for as much enrichment as they can get. I’m active and happy to wander around the city/parks/the beach with your pup and give them pets and treats (if that’s what you’d like) along the way. I am good with dogs at all leash-skill levels, and am also happy to work with your pup on improvement, if needed.

Availability
I work full time, mostly evening shifts, so I am hoping to pick up dog walks during the day, mostly before 3pm. I am also typically available one weekend day/week.
