I have two dogs of my own and foster a third dog. I treat my dogs like they are my children. Dogs instantly fall in love with me. Their owners will feel comfortable knowing how responsible, attentive and caring I am. When I started fostering my new dog, she was growling and barking at me because she didn’t know me. I was patient and understanding with her until she felt comfortable enough to warm up to me. Now I get the typical overly-enthusiast greeting from her any time she sees me. I have been a dog/ puppy owner for ten years now and have had one of my dogs since he was 8 weeks old. I rescued my other dog from an animal shelter and even though she was aggressive when I first got her, I showed her enough love, affection and attention to gain her trust enough to want to stay at my house. Now I can open my front door and she won’t even think about running away or going out without me.
