Hello! My name is Annie, and I am a responsible, empathetic, animal loving recent graduate in the Raleigh area. I’ve been a dog owner since birth and have taken care of many, many dogs. I have experience fostering puppies and adult dogs, adopting traumatized rescues, and taking care of a medically needy, senior dog for 5+ years. And most importantly, I’m a specialist in both play time and cuddle giving! I have moderate experience with cats.

Annie is a gem of a person! She is everything you need for a dog sitter: patient, kind, loving, punctual, supportive, and communicative. She has grown up with dogs all her life (2 BEAUTIFUL rescues at home). When she came over to my apartment to meet my dog (whose very scared of new people), Beanie warmed right up to her instantly, and within minutes they formed a strong bond. I've been fortunate enough to connect with Annie outside of dog-walking/dog-sitting situations, and she brings the same kinds of energy and brilliance to everything that she does. Annie will forever be someone who I trust.

I take caution to be sure your pet is always on a leash or in a fenced in area, and all safety measures are double checked. You know your pet and home the best, so I’ll follow your rules on where they stay when no one’s home, interacting with other animals, etc.

The main thing I ask is to just be honest about your pets’ wants, needs, and quirks. Typically, I find it helpful to do a meet and greet before the first time I’m actually pet sitting so I can get an introduction to their routine and personality.
A typical day
I want your dog to have fun and feel safe and comfortable at all times under my watch! Depending on your dog’s likes, I’m like to engage them physically and mentally with a mix of play time, outdoor exercise, practicing tricks, tummy rubs, and short adventures (car rides, walks, parks, etc.) with your permission.

I recently graduated from college and am in a gap before pursing my next career steps. I hope to stay in the Triangle longer term. I’m flexible most days and will certainly stick to any pet care plans we decide.
