I grew up with a chihuahua/pug mix and helped take care of her through walking, feeding, training, and snuggling! I lived with an Australian shepherd puppy for a year who took a lot of patience when it came to potty training and discipline. That same year my other roommate got a German shepherd puppy who required even more patience and time training her. Both are great dogs and it was great experiences with training puppies! I now live with a coonhound and a golden retriever and I just help feed them and walk them and keep them entertained most of the day. So haven’t had a dog myself but have been around them for quite awhile and know how to care for any type of dog!
