Pet care experience
My family and I have had many dogs over the years with sizes and ages ranging from Great Danes to Corgis, and newborn puppies to their sick days. Our family dogs currently require a variety of medicine due to allergies or seizures which has truly showed me the importance of timely medicine delivery and lots of love. I enjoy taking our dogs on walks, playing fetch and definitely giving yummy treats!

When I’m taking care of others cats or dogs, I like to be able to get them on at least one walk a day, sometimes two. For safety, I always check with owners about medications, barking (especially with neighbors in apartments), and any possible dangerous situations they’ve run into. I like to watch the animals if they need to go outside, feed them on time, and give any medication they need the time of day as needed.

I like to know about all medications and times for both medications and food delivery. I like to know about aggression, triggers, any need for seclusion with other animals, children, etc.
A typical day
I enjoy going on runs with dogs that are highly active! Any time we have a lake day, our dogs love enjoy a swim as well. Dog parks are always a great place to throw a ball for my dogs.

Availability
I currently do not have any animals that live with me due to my occupation being “on call”, but when I assist with my family with our 4 dogs, there’s a lot going on daily. Every day I take two of the dogs out for a walk at a time, and once we are finish, they rest for a while and then out in the yard to play again. I like to be able to let them out for the restroom every 3 hours maximum, on my off days, it’s easy to work around that time.
