Generally, it's helpful to know what behavioral issues a dog has had. I don't shy away from dogs who have had issues with jumping, scratching, or biting, but I do need to know to make sure I am prepared. If there are any bad habits you are trying to train your dog out of (barking at strangers, pulling on their leash, jumping up at the front door, etc.), that is helpful for me to know as well so I can continue to reinforce good behavior. And of course, if your dog has any allergies or medical conditions, please alert me so I know what to avoid/how to manage any potential episodes. No breed preferences - any dog is a good dog!

I am always down for a brisk walk around the neighborhood, but heading to a dog park or enclosed backyard where we can play lots of fetch is always preferable! Back home at my parents, I love to take their dog swimming at the beach, but unfortunately there aren't a lot of great places for dogs to safely go swimming around here.
