We couldn't have been more pleased with the way that Annie took care of Ella while we were away. She sent us pictures and updates everyday which were so nice to receive and set our minds at rest so we could enjoy our vacation. Ella is on a special prescription diet and Annie and her family were very careful to ensure that Ella did not eat anything she was not supposed to eat. Our return ...

I am kind, caring, and patient.

I have owned pets since childhood and love all animals.
I have volunteered for a dog rescue for over four years and take in foster dogs on a regular basis. I have two rescue dogs of my own and take one foster to love until I re-home the dog. I often pet sit for my past foster dogs!
I am dependable, loving, active, and patient.
My teenage boys (15 and 17) and husband also love ...

What Annie would like to know about your dog

Any dog that I care for needs to be up to date on shots and should have a bortedella shot (kennel cough). A dog must be free from fleas or mange or any other contagious issue.
I have never administered an injected medication but if shown how to do it I will do it.
I have never cared for a special needs dog other than deaf and blind but I would certainly consider caring for a dog with other needs.

For any stay that exceeds the 24 hour period I will charge an additional $20 after 27 hours. For example: if you drop off your pet at 8 am on Monday and do not pick up your pet until 1 pm Sunday, I will charge an additional $20 because it has been over 27 hours. I give a three hour grace period.

When Annie watches your pet

I have a very large fenced in back yard where dogs can roam and run freely. We often play outside with the dogs or if requested go on walks. We have a very large preserve near our house where dogs can walk on leash. I only take dogs up there if they are on any type of tic/flea prevention as there are numerous tics. The dogs are free to roam the house while I am home. I will occasionally crate a new dog if I have to go out on an errand or two. I feel it is safer for the new dog while I am briefly away.
