A comfy home to spoil your baby!
Pet care experience
I have a background with foster dogs and have been boarding through Rover since 2022. I love learning about enrichment and behavior. I love all breeds and know how to read and respect dogs. I have a huge soft spot for seniors and rescues. I am a dog person but don't have one of my own, so I love having canine guests! My goal is to create a comfortable, cozy and fun environment that dogs can really relax and enjoy. Being away from family can be scary and stressful for a dog, so my goal is to make them as comfortable and happy as possible and treat them like they're my own.
Reviews
Took amazing care of my pup. He seemed very content.
Annie was amazing with our 2 dogs. She had no problem with our high energy girl Mona and our timid boy Teddy. She went above and beyond and took the extra time they needed to feel right at home eventually warming up to her and her family. We plan to book her again in the future!
Annie was wonderful with Blue and he felt right at home! He got lots of cuddling and outside time. We definitely recommend Annie and will use her in the future! Thanks, Annie..
Annie did an excellent job with my dog Dewey. She was there to comfort Dewey and his separation anxiety. Moreover, she helped enervate my anxiety by providing a message updating me on how he was doing. All in all, I recommend Annie and look forward to knowing I can rely on her watching Dewey in the future.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a 4-foot fenced backyard. I have one large pet crate, dog bowls, dog beds and lots of toys of all sorts, including an assortment of Nylabones/Benebones. I love enrichment and am happy to offer a Kong and/or other fun treat puzzles. I have an 8 year old child so pets must be child-friendly, please. I do not let dogs in the backyard unattended and have eyes on them at all times when outside. I do have a 30 foot leash for extra security in the yard if escaping is a concern. My home is as dog-proofed as possible and I use baby gates when not home for dogs who aren't comfortable being crated.

Information Annie C. would like to know about your pet
I do have stairs to the front and back door, so its important a dog can handle stairs if they can't be carried. Also any food sensitivities are good to know! I will follow your dietary specifications but I do love giving some special dog-friendly treats during a stay if possible! Any training or commands you would like me to practice with your pup. And if your dog(s) is(are) dog-friendly, dog-selective, or an only dog! I have experience with dog-reactive dogs and am happy to accommodate them.
A typical day
Depending on the needs of the individual dog, a typical day will include up to 2 walks (either around the neighborhood or to the nearby park for more active pups). I can also provide plenty of mental stimulation, which can include treat puzzles, games, toys and plenty of time sniffing to their heart's content outside! Fresh water available at all times and I only crate if that is your preference. I leave relaxing music on whenever I leave the house and keep a camera on so I can periodically check in on any guests. Dogs are welcome to furniture in my home and can sleep wherever they typically do at home.

Availability
I’m home during the week and the absolute longest I am gone is 5 hours in a day, but it's usually less and typically only in the evening. I typically board dogs from one household at a time.
