Pet care experience
My whole adult life has been about animals. Almost 40 years breeding dogs. 30 years as a professional groomer. Also did pet sitting for my grooming customers. Some experience in rescue work and obedience training. My Dogs, cats , chickens are my life. You pet would be in good hands. My schedule is very flexible and open. Weekends and Holidays usually aren't a problem. Last minute can sometimes be accommodated.

I have known Annette for many years. I have a dog grooming business and she worked for us for over 25 years. She is very dog oriented and pays great attention to detail. Always willing to do what is required. We have remained good friends over the years. She has been breeding Springer spaniels since leaving out business with a concientious breeding program. Needless to say, she knows all about taking care of pets. I would Highly Recommend her for this position.

When I arrive at your home if ok with you I have a treat so dog thinks I'm something good. I know how to open a door to keep a dog from darting out. Door is shut p Behind me and double checked to make sure its shut. When they go out into thier yard to go to the bathroom I stand outside with the to make sure they are safe. If we go for a walk the leash is put on an double checked before I open the door. The leash is around my wrist so if they would go after something they can't pull the leash from my hand. I always wear tennis shoes for a food foot hold. When we go back in the door again is shut and double checked before leash comes off. I never open windows or doors . When I leave I take a nose count to check where everyone is at before I go.

It is very important to me to know if your pet has any special needs. It is important to know if they need a special diet or a medication at a special time. Or anything else. These are all things I will ask you before hand.
A typical day
I will play ball or fetch if that is what you pet loves doing. If they are more of the cuddles type I will sit on the floor or thier favorite place and we can do quite time with cuddles and lots of petting. If there is another activity like a good log walk we can do that too. What makes your pet happy is the most important thing.
