Pet care experience
I have been a dog parent my entire life, until we lost our 15 year and 17 y/o fur babies to old age. I have experience with small and large breeds. I have basic training in dog obedience. I work for myself, out of my home, so my time is flexible. I am looking to fill my love for dogs by giving all that love to your fur baby, just as I would my own. I would love them to stay overnight at my home or to walk/hike your pup to their skill level (short walks around the neighborhood or long hikes in the hills). I enjoy hiking and am comfortable hiking in the hills or in town with dogs. I am also able to administer medications if needed. If your pup likes adventures, I can help! I also love senior dogs, they have a special place in my heart.

Annette did such a wonderful job watching Lemon while we were away. She went on walks everyday, a little day trip, it was almost like Lemon had her own vacation. It felt so nice knowing someone trustworthy and kind hearted was watching after our dog while we were away. Thanks Annette ?
When we returned after 16 days, we weren't sure that Tillie was really all that interested in coming home! Annette sent regular pics to us during our travels, and it was clear that our little kid was having a grand time and had settled in to her temporary home quickly. If I could post a couple of the pics, I would. We got fouled up on our return timing (we had needed to reschedule the entire trip once, and the timing details got intermixed) and had fouled up Annette's travel plans as a result. We were SO embarrassed, but she was most gracious about adjusting her own departure to deal with out late arrival for pickup.
Very attentive to our dog who has tons of energy and a few issues. I look forward to having Annette watch Ginger again.

I have a partially fenced yard, so I always go out w/ dogs to go potty, I walk the dogs on a leash and don’t take them to doggie parks, bc I can’t risk your pup encountering a dog they don’t like.

Is there ANY aggression history with the dog with people or any other animals. Is the dog completely housebroken? Does your pup chew things and do they like to be in a kennel. I prefer not to kennel, but will if that’s what makes them feel safe. Your response doesn’t mean I won’t watch them, I just need to know.
A typical day
I love to hike Devils backbone, Big Thompson River Trail and Rivers Edge Nature area. I also walk dogs right in the neighborhood, near Lake Loveland and like to take them out for adventures. Ball throwing, frisbee and tug of war etc. It really depends on the pups skill/activity level.

Availability
I work from home, so my time is flexible. I love to walk so it’s a win win for most dogs, however if the pup is old and doesn’t want long walks, I will just love on them.
