Hello! My name is Anneka Rains and I am the owner and operator of Rains in Seattle, LLC Professional Dog Walking & Pet Care. I specialize in handling animals with dog reactivities, anxieties, special needs, and those that require more in-depth medical/daily routines! I work full-time as a pet professional, and I’m Pet CPR certified and insured with Pet Sitters Associates, in addition to Rover's standard insurance. I'm fully vaccinated and boosted as well.

I've been in the pet care industry for the past six years and owned personally for 13, I currently have a hilarious pair of cats named Moose and Duckie! I provide visits to both dogs and cats in the forms of walks & drop-ins, and I aim to keep my schedule flexible by utilizing 2-3 hour arrival windows — detailed reports and photos are included for every visit! I'm based out of Highland Park in West Seattle and am excited to meet all of your furry friends. My service area includes all of West Seattle, White Center and Georgetown. Meet and Greets are complimentary and I love all breeds, ages, and sizes and hope to meet yours soon!

Safety is my top priority when it comes to your pet, so making sure I have all of the necessary info before visiting is very important. I like to know if they have any behavioral issues, if they have any allergies or medical conditions, any routines, their personality quirks — I want to know it all. I’m happy to work with you in whatever means necessary!
A typical day
I plan our activities based on what your pet needs and likes to do! Sometimes we’ll go on a fast paced walk, or just have a relaxed stroll through the park to take in all the exciting smells. I also love giving them playtime indoors or out — whatever you have available — and lots of love and cuddles. Whatever your pet needs and whatever you’re looking for as an owner, I’m happy to oblige!
