That’s why we decided to start offering services through Rover. We want to provide the type of care that we would hope to receive for our own dog while we are away! We would love the opportunity to help serve you and your pet(s)! To say I've been a dog lover from birth is quite literal! I grew up with goldens and have never known life without dogs! You can rest assured knowing your furry friend will be loved on and cared for like our own during their stay with us! Our current fur baby, Macie, is a rescue from Texas and among her many nicknames, we call her “Big mama” because she likes to be the boss lady around here or peace keeper, as I call it. She’s grown with me from when I was in college and she was a lively young pup until now. She is friendly and has a calm temperament. She does enjoy dog company as she is entering her golden years and she prefers to coexist in peace with our furry house guests. She may not enjoy playing as much as she used to but does like to sniff around our property and “hunt” squirrels and the occasional muskrat as she shows our company the ropes around here! We live on a 5 acre country lot with room to run and play, protected by an invisible fence. We also take frequent walks whether through the neighborhood down the road or on our own property. We are more than game for some fetch and outdoor play with your dog(s) as well as lots of pets and belly rubs while in our home! We are happy to provide updates and pictures during your pets stay to keep you connected to their daily activities while they stay with us!
