As someone who grew up with animals in the house, i view cats and dogs as an extension of the family unit. In having grown up with and around both dogs and cats, I have an inside knowledge on what is required to ensure your fur baby feels safe, loved and cared for. I will make it my goal to ensure that my home is a safe haven where your animals see it as a "home away from home". I initially got into pet sitting after having my friends, neighbors, and co-workers, ask me to watch their pets for a few days so that they were able to go on vacation, have a date night, go away for a business trip etc, and from there I've found myself continuing to assist going on over two years. One thing that has compelled me to expand my services has been the cost-to-level-of-care ratio and the hassle that Boarding has had on my parents, co-workers, and friends. As someone who acknowledges the constraints and the need and desire of pet mom and dads when seeking out care for their fur babies, I invite you to book with me so that we can make sure that your pet can feel as if they are at a "home away from home".

Anne M. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.
This was my first experience on Rover, and I won't be using it again. My dog was left alone from approximately 8 hours, and was not fed dinner. My pick up time was scheduled for 7pm, but she did not return home until 9pm. I had to wait on the street for 30 minutes minutes because the host decided to go to the Twin Cities for the day rather than letting out my dog, or even feeding him. My dog is fine, but come on. I used this service to have someone take care of him. I could've locked him up in my own house if this is what I wanted. Dogs are family. We don't neglect them all day and then not feed them. Zero stars if it was possible.
Anne was fantastic! Our boy enjoyed his time with the friends he met while staying with her plus LOVED her big back yard. We will for sure be coming back in the future.
Bernie seemed so happy and comfortable with Anne!! I received regular pictures and updates. Anne was super flexible with pick up and drop off. She was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I know Bernie was well taken care of!

Please let me know all about your doggo! One thing I'd like to be sure of is that they feel comfortable, at home, and cared for just as much as they are with you. In order to ensure that I can provide this, I would love to hear how you structure the day with your furry friend. What time does your dog typically eat at? How does your dog signal they are needing to be let out? Does your dog enjoy taking walks and if so what time do you usually take them out for one? Is there anything that may cause your dog anxiety? if so how do you typically work to mitigate it at home? In knowing the nuances of you and your doggos day to day's and understanding how you have worked to be there for your fur baby, I will be able to ensure that the level of care given is top tier and can work to ensure your dog feels the most at ease while you are away.
A typical day
Some fun things I do with the animals I watch are take them out for walks, throw the ball around in the backyard to get the zoomies all out, let them cuddle up with me on the couch while I work away, and of course, the never-ending photoshoots so that mommy and daddy can get the updates as the stay transpires to ensure they are up to speed on all their fur baby is doing.
