Reliable and loving dog sitters
Pet care experience
Hello everyone. We are Anne-Lise and Mike. We always loved animals and we both grew up with cats. Since Anne-Lise was a teenager she has had dogs in her life. In her early twenties she got a rescue dog that lived very happily with her until he was 15. He had a mild stroke towards the end of his life so she gave him special care. Both of us have experience giving other dogs special care so if you have a reactive dog or something else challenging, send us a message to let us know what you need from us. The last few years we haven't been able to own any animals as we live in a flat. But over the last 15 years we have looked after friends and family's dogs and cats in their homes whilst they've been away which has been great fun and it's always something we look forward to. We are very flexible and enjoy looking after all kinds of furry pets.

Annie & Mike looked after my senior dog Charlie for 10 days and I’d fully recommend them to anyone else. We met a couple of months before my trip & they were very reassuring & caring & Charlie took to them both straight away. I received regular updates & photos whilst I was away & came back to a very happy & healthy dog as well as a lovely clean house. I’d be very happy to go away again & use Annie as I know Charlie would be very well cared for meaning I can enjoy my holiday without the worry.
Thank you so much for taking care of our pets! Anne-Lise and Mike did a great job of taking care of our beloved pets whilst we were away. We received plenty of photo/video updates whilst we were gone and reassurance that our pets were doing well - we have one rescue dog and another larger dog, which can both be very high energy in and out of the house. We felt as though all of our instructions / pet ‘rules’ that we discussed prior to the sit were adhered to well, and we were welcomed home with a clean house on our return which was amazing given our three pets make plenty of fur tumbleweeds and paw prints on a daily basis! Would highly recommend using their services if you are considering, and we hope to use Anne-Lise and Mike again in the future 🐾
Thank you Anne-Lise and Mike for looking after our pets! We received regular updates from them, so we felt at ease whilst we were on holiday. Our dog has epilepsy and requires daily medication, both Anne-Lise and Mike were super empathetic and attentive.
Many thanks to Anne-Lise and Mike for taking such good care of all our pets. Our cat had to go to the vet 3 days before the house sit was due to take place , as he was suddenly unwell and as a result was prescribed antibiotics and an oral medication. I told Anne-Lise straight away and she wasn’t fazed at all and put me totally at ease. She sent me regular updates whilst we were away, which meant I could relax knowing everything was ok. Great communication, and it’s clear how much Anne-Lise and Mike love animals. Thanks again.

A typical day
Morning: We start the day with a morning walk for the dogs. It's a refreshing way to begin the day for both humans and pets. It's a great way to start a day with some exploring. After the walk, we head back home for breakfast. We ensure each dog receives their specific diet, catering to any special dietary requirements. Mid-morning: Playtime is a crucial part of the day. We engage in various games like fetch, tug-of-war, or interactive toys to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. Afternoon: To break up the day, we might head out for another walk, exploring different routes or visiting a local nature trail or park. The change of scenery keeps things interesting for the dogs. Interactive training sessions can be a part of the afternoon. We work on basic commands or fun tricks, which also reinforce the bond between us. Late Afternoon: As the day winds down, we have more playtime, and we give each dog individual attention and affection. If the weather is warm, we might include some water play in the yard or a kiddie pool, which many dogs find refreshing and fun. Evening: It's time for another walk before or after dinner depending on your preferences. Dinner is served, adhering to their specific feeding schedule and dietary needs. After dinner, we take a relaxed evening stroll to help them wind down and prepare for bedtime. Night: We make sure each dog has a comfortable sleeping area, whether it's a cosy dog bed or a crate, based on their preference. Before bedtime, we spend some quiet moments cuddling and providing reassurance. Throughout the day, we maintain open communication with the dog owners, providing updates, photos, and videos of their beloved pets, ensuring they have peace of mind while they are away. Every dog's experience is tailored to their personality, energy level, and interests, ensuring they have an amazing time during their stay with us!
