I am fully vaccinated +booster and will only stay in houses where occupants are fully vaccinated as well! I find myself after 25 years of caregiving, traveling, and living with Mom to having a lot of free time on my hands. She passed 2019. I know that I would like to travel again and for that reason I cannot commit to sharing my life with a fur baby at the moment. Helping care for other people’s homes and pets in their own home seems like a lovely compromise for my 2 passions: travel and pets. I have owned and cared for animals all my life, most of them rescues. Sometimes 3 at a time. I have seen them blossom from fearful, mistrusting little creatures to loving, confident and caring family members. I miss the connection, affection and companionship of a pet. I would love to care for your little fur babies while you are away. I do respect and encourage your training lessons. I am a born carer, nurturer. Very observant, clean, tidy and detail oriented. As a former home owner, and now renter and sitter I am very diligent, conscientious and respectful of others’ homes. I have found my purpose again. I have been quite busy since I began House and Petsitting August 2021. I am in GTA and Quebec all summer and I winter in Miami, Florida. Please see my reviews. I am fully retired, single, no children, non drinker, non smoker. Not a fan of marijuana smokers or their homes. Free to love and care for your fur babies 24/7 in your home. I find pets happier when they are in their own familiar home living their routine. Walks, playtime, cuddling are priority. Oral Medication Administration, Senior Dog Experience Special Needs Dog Experience. Can provide daily exercise. After all your pets are the very reason I am in your home. Willing to travel. Fur babies are never out of my sight whether indoors or outdoors. On leash or off. I like to be sure they are as safe as children would be. Most of my life my pets HAVE been my children. Sleeping in bed with me is wonderful or snuggling on the couch. Pets fulfill me as a person. Being retired, I am very flexible to follow pet routines and schedules with the greatest care and pleasure. Lots of playtime and attention. Daily updates with clients is a must in my petsitting routine. Your pets are never out of my sight 24/7. Whether fenced yards or not I am by their side making sure they are safe. Instructions followed to a T. I am retired and petsit as a hobby. I enjoyed their company and believe we can be beneficial for each other. Pets are the best company Pets are never out of my sight. Visits to the back yard are always under my supervision. We chill together always and are in close proximity

So happy to have found a wonderful person like Anne to look after both our cats!! She is truly awesome! She took the time to get to know them and meticulously took down notes to understand their personalities. She was attentive to our cats’ needs and her dedication to them was amazing. We got frequent updates on food and medication intake and loads of pictures too. Anne is just the kind of person we were looking for, now we can be stress free during our time away! Highly recommend Anne!!

I would like to be informed of tick and flea preventative measures, feeding, walking, playing habits beforehand. Are they afraid of thunderstorms or fireworks? What are their social habits with other pets we would meet on walks. Levels of training. Too many things to innumerate. I would hope a guide would be provided.
A typical day
Dogs get walked as per schedule. Cats and dogs get lots of playtime indoors or outdoors especially after naps. Grooming is important as well but cuddles are the very best if they are accustomed to them and if they permit me.
