Pawsitively cozy, reliable and fun

Pet care experience

While I lived most of my teenage years in a home without pets, my family relatives had two dogs and I would visit them regularly. My husband, on the other hand, always had dogs at home. Combined, we have over a decade of experience with them. I also lived in US and used to work with my host mom as a dog sitter and we had 5 fur babies at home, including a puppy. Eventually, my husband and I rescued our own: Cybele. We have had her since 2018.

Our dog Angus spent 5 nights with Anne Caroline & Pedro and it went very well. We were updated throughout his stay on how he was doing. Angus really enjoyed their dog Cy. They are a very organized and responsible couple. We definitely recommend them and we will seek them out next time we need a sitter for Angus.

Anne Caroline and Pedro have been my go-to dog sitters for my pet Dior. They are nice people and reliable, consistently sending photos throughout the stay. They proactively communicate observations. They are my pet’s favorite. She is always excited to see them! I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and loving companions for their furbabies.

First time Annika was boarded at someone’s house, and her first time being separated from me without her brother AND her being new to Downtown (we lived in the middle of no where prior) And the absolutely crushed it! Annika was immediately welcomed and loved into their home. She had a few accidents early (probably nerves) and they were patient and understanding and continued to work with her and poof! She was comfortable and no more accidents! Their dog Cy is the best companion to play with. And the constant pictures , videos and updates made me feel like I right there! Will be coming back to them anytime we need a sitter and and absolutely would recommend 10/10 times.

We absolutely love dogs. We live in an apartment with no yard (and because of that, we do not take high energy dogs, as it is harder to provide them proper constant exercise). We can remove small objects out of reach if necessary and all products or chemicals are kept in enclosed cabinets. We have a grass pad for necessities emergencies if you doggo is trained (just in case!), but we are available for how many potty breaks and walks your doggo needs. We will not, in any circumstance, feed your dog with our human food. However, we can accommodate special diets (we are gluten free and Cybele is allergic to eggs), including cooking if needed - food must be provided. We can administer oral medications, but no injections. Feel free to bring you doggos favorite toys and blankets - we will take special care of them and return them all safely to you. We loooove to cuddle and allow pets in all furniture and bed, unless you wish otherwise or if it has been over a week since your doggo has taken a bath. We will make sure your doggo is having a good time. We are also diligent with the weather for walks and have filtered water available at all times. PS1: we do ask all male dogs to be neutered/spawned, and females to not be in heat. We also request doggos to have their tick and flees medication up to date, as well as not have any transmittable disease.

Information Anne Caroline & Pedro H. would like to know about your pet

We do not board dogs with transmittable diseases or that are coughing, sneezing or have any respiratory issues - this is due to the newest respiratory disease spreading in US. Please be truthful about your dogs condition. We appreciate it. Please let us know if: 1. Does your dog gets along with other dogs, other animals and people? 2. Are there any medications, allergies or health conditions? If yes, please give details. 3. What is the walking and feeding schedule? 4. Does your dog has their flee and tick medication up to date? 5. Is your dog neutered/spawned and/or not in heat? 6. Does your dog has any habits or quirks we need to be aware of or be attentive (e.g. chewing furniture or objects, pulling the harness/leash, biting or advancing on strangers, eating things that are not his/her food, excessive barking, peeing on rugs or bed, afraid of something, etc)? 7. What are your dogs sleeping habits (e.g. sleeps with you in bed, sleeps in the same/different room, should be left separate from our own dog, dreams vividly during their sleep, are quiet sleepers, wakes up at a specific time, etc)? 8. Does your doggo needs to be crated at night, when we leave the house or in any other moment? We do not accept dogs that require crating.

A typical day

We'll make sure your doggo is feeling at home. Filtered water is available at all times and food will be given according to instructions. We will go out with your doggo as many times as you'd like us to. There is a dog park near by - if your dog likes it and is allowed to go. But there are other several parks around as well. We love summer activities. But we also love staying indoors, especially during snowy or rainy days. We love playing with them and their toys, and cuddling in the sofa. If they know any tricks, let us know and we will keep them entertained. What you will need to bring: - Food and food bowl: because our dog is allergic to eggs, we can't share the same bowls. This is applicable for all services. - Blankets and bed: unless your doggo is good sleeping in the couch, we ask for their comfy bedding to be brought for overnight stays. - Toys and treats: while we are happy to share our own treats, if you doggo likes his/hers, feel free to bring them. Our dog doesn't play with toys so much, so please bring yours if he/she has any.
