Pet care experience
I'm a lifelong lover of all animals with two cats of my own. I trained and raised our family dog from a puppy and regularly dogsit for friends when they leave town. That includes following their various training and feeding protocols to a tee. I'm a part-time attorney working from home and I recently moved to Philly... I'm joining Rover because it'll allow me to get to know the city better while combining two passions: getting outside and loving on pets :) I'm new to Rover but I have many friends who will happily serve as a reference and confirm that your fur baby will be in the best of hands with me.

Anne is an absolute animal lover! She has two of her own cats and has lived with dogs in her home for many years. She spoils my dog, Mari, with love, affection and the occasional special bone :) I would trust her with my dog any day as she has both the experience and the passion to care for her. Anne is a natural with pets. She loves them like family. My rescue dog Ty is sometimes difficult to walk -- he is scared of cars and loud noises-- Anne makes him feel safe and comfortable. We never worry about leaving him with her, she is responsible and caring. Thank you Anne!

She has a lifelong passion for nature - a hiker, runner, birder. She owns two cats, loves all animals, and they respond to her. She will be an caring and completely responsible pet walker or sitter.

My philosophy is that you're the pet parent and I'm working for you. Your expectations and boundaries are paramount, as is your pet's well-being and safety. That being said, I do have some boundaries of my own. I won't physically correct or shout at pets and strongly prefer positive reinforcement as an approach to training dogs. Happy to discuss any questions you have!

I love to stimulate your pets physically and mentally, wether through play, snuggles, fast walks (or even short jogs) for more intense exercise, slow walks with lots of smelling and exploring, or all of the above!

Availability
I'm currently working part time, so I have plenty of bandwith for walking/playing/snuggling/you name it. I keep my calendar of availability as up to date as possible but am generally more available on weekdays than weekends. I'm not available for boarding at the moment, but am available for overnights at your home!
