Pet care experience
***We are currently closed to new bookings. We’re getting ready to move and are already filling up through to September. We will honour all pre-confirmed dates*** We have extensive experience with both cats and dogs. We, unfortunately, lost our Bengal to a road accident at the end of January, and we aren't ready to add another 4 legged friend to the family just yet, so we've decided to start with Rover. When we lived in Canada, we used to do boarding and had a lovely experience with some gorgeous dogs. We came back to the UK during the pandemic. We have 2 daughters, aged 15 & 9, who are animal fanatics (when we started Rover the youngest used her pocket money to buy 2 books on dog training and dog psychology. She even researched how to make tasty dog-safe treats!) My husband and I work from home full-time and are always around. We have a large open-plan house, lots of toys, and lots of time. We will take your pup for long walks (or short walks if this is your/their preference. I know some of our older friends - or those recovering from surgery might need a lighter load of exercise) either way, your fur baby will be loved like they’re our own. We’ve had dogs all our lives and know they become a massive part of the family. I’ll send regular updates and lots of photos/videos :) It's even been known that your pup goes home with some extra toys that I've purchased just for them :)
Reviews
Perfect communication once again and really flexible at short notice. Tryfan loves staying with Anne's family!
Thanks Anne and family for taking good care of Beni. Unfortunately Beni didn’t settle well the first night but Anne’s family did all they could to help him - they even slept downstairs with him! Thanks for all the daily updates Would definitely recommend Anne as a sitter.
Anne and family were fantastic. We really felt like Tryfan was being looked after in the best way possible while we were on holiday and all his needs were accommodated. We were kept updated daily with photos, videos, and stories about what Tryfan had been up to. Thank you so much.
This was Norman's second visit to Anne, and he loved it! As soon as we arrived, he ran up to the door, eager to go inside. Anne kept me updated and sent photos during his stay so that I could see how happy he was. He had a great time with Anne and her family and we'll definitely be booking with her again!

We're comfortable with crating if required but would be with the dog at all times when they're out of the house. They'd always be on a lead and generally we'd be together during walks. For cats, they'd be expected to stay as "indoors" only cats during their stay but will have full access to our large open plan living space. I have completed an online pet first aid course and I’m confident this will be an asset to any visitor we have.

Information Anne C. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know how they are with children. My girls are good at following instructions and can leave pups alone when told but having a pet that isn’t good around children wouldn’t work for either of us. I really want to confirm this again - we will only take 1 booking at a time. This will be with 1 dog or 1 cat for the duration of their stay. We are more than happy to take multiple dogs and cats if they are from the same family and are used to each other. We don’t feel that the level of stress caused to your pet is worth it if we have multiples. We really want their experience with us to be as positive as your experience with us.
A typical day
I’ll follow your lead and if it’s OK I’ll take them to the dog park, walks to the normal parks/local fields and lots of playing fetch in the house. Chris tends to do 5.5-6miles each day broken into two trips (taking our youngest to and from school) so he’d either take the dog with him or leave them with me if they’re not up to a longer walk. He’d also take them through the Botanical Garden’s as part of the walk as well.

Availability
As I said previously, Chris and I both work from home full time so we're always around. We each have an office and would be happy to have our visitor either in with us while we work or with access to us during that time. It has also become common practice for Chris to forgo his office and work from the sofa so whichever pup we have can cuddle during the day. He says it’s for their benefit but I can tell it’s for his really :)
