We love dogs so much, and have thought about getting a second dog as a sibling to our Shado, but thought that Rover may be a great way to 'sometimes' have another dog that we and Shado get to play with and this way we can get a feel for what it may be like. But also, we have used Rover many times over the last three years, and realize the value of a service like this. We are family that will pay lots of attention to your dog and will cater to all of his/her needs. When the family is away, your furbaby needs nurturing and care to keep them distracted from the fact that you are away. There are three kids in the house (ages 10-17), along with my husband and myself, PLUS Shado, our 3 year our labrador retriever mix. Your pup will never be lonely! We have a concrete driveway in the back (common to 8 houses) so it is a great place where we can play with the dogs, but mainly, there is a park 3 blocks away where Shado frequents daily and he can show your pup around! The kids and I are home all summer and look forward to watching your doggie while keeping them safe and engaged! I am a student, but am studying at home for a big exam during the summer. My kids are home too, while my husband is doing the hybrid thing. We are happy to go on long walks in the park and will be very diligent that your pup eats, drinks and sleeps properly. Our dog Shado is probably the most even-keeled puppy I've ever met. He is incredible social with dogs and humans. We are looking forward to him having fun with your pup during his stay. My three kids will also show your dog lots of love. We love having another pup around, and know that our days will go by so happily while watching your dog. We can do daycare and/or boarding in our home.
