I've had rag doll cats in my life since I've been born, and once I grew up a bit more I started learning how to take care of them! My mom was a reptile and fish breeder for years. I remember seeing her breeding room full of different kinds of animals! I never really lived with dogs, but my boyfriend is great with them. He has lived around dogs and taken care of them the majority of his life. Being raised in Argentina, there are stray dogs EVERYWHERE, so he was constantly interacting with them and helping them out when needed.

I live on an Acre in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico. I hosted a couple, Annabel and Franco. they helped me with my 4 goats and 30 birds (13 chickens, 17 ducks). I also have a street dog called Mango that showed up on the property one day. He's scary at first but very loyal and protective of us. He would bark only when he needed. Annabel would wake up every day on time to feed the animals, make sure they had water throughout the day, fixing their pens, cleaning their spaces, and so many more tasks. Annabel, and even her partner Franco are both great animal care takers!!!
Annabel helped me take care of 4 dogs once. I was house-keeping in Utuado, Puerto Rico. Beautiful spot, 10 acres of bananas and cacao plantation. There were 3 dogs on the property. Puma, a black street dog with a fun and playful heart. Full of energy but very respectful. Her sister Leona, same as Puma but tan. And their adoptive mother, Mamasita. She wasn't their real mom, but she adopted them as her puppies after a while. She was the leader of the group, and the smallest. Then came along Mango, another street dog. And Annabel was there to help me with this for 3 months. She's great with animals, has a very kind way of co-existing with animals and nature. It's always good to locate problems and find solutions for them, even more when building new trust-based relationships with clients. Their pets are their family, as we plan to treat them like that, too!

A typical day
We love taking them on walks, to their favorite park, wherever they want to go (as long as its safe!). Walking is a great way for dogs to experience their life in a different fashion outside the house. Taking a ball, or their favorite toy is a plus!

Availability
If we were to find a house willing to host us as we care for their pets, we would do it full-time. My boyfriend is currently without a job and I work 2 part-times, but we would like to consolidate somehow by fitting activities like these in our routine.
