Active, healthy animal lover! :D

Pet care experience

Growing up with animals since before I could walk, I was recently blessed with a dog of my own for Christmas. I grew up in suburban Pennsylvania neighborhood so naturally, the outdoors and animals were part of my upbringing- caring for neighbors and friends dogs, sometimes weeks at a time. I am constantly striving to enhance my own pet's lives through continued reading, training and play as I believe healthy stimulation, proper knowledge of care and love will allow pets to live their happiest lives. I am available 24/7 on weekdays with overnight stays welcome and 24/7 on the weekends with the exception of running errands and working out. My overnight rate is valid for evening drop off/pick up from 12:00 noon-12:00 noon the next day- for any additional hours beyond these times a fee of $3/hr will be added. If additional hours exceed 8 hours past pick up/drop off the next day, I will simply add my day care fee cap of $25. My dog boarding fee for multiple nights is bundled between $25 daycare and $35 overnight for a simple $50 per day. As I aim to continue the balance between obedience, love and play in a clean, comfortable environment, I am certain that your dog(s) will feel just as loved as mine are.

I could not reccomend Annalyssa more!! I've had a lot of dog walkers, and finally found one I really liked right before moving from Chicago to San Diego. I ended up getting a job and having to start the next day, and Annalyssa was so unbelievably flexible and started walking my dog right away. She's walked him every day, taken him to the dog park, and let him play with her adorable puppy!! My dog is 13 years old, and moving again was a little hard on him. But after his walks with Annalyssa, he is playing fetch and plays with me again. Not only does she give me awesome feedback every walk, but she informs on things she sees that are new or unusual with him (and for the owner of a senior dog that is SO important). Annalyssa is incredible, and it's easy to see she loves her job and loved the dogs she walks. Thank you for everything! She'll be my dog walker every week for as long as she'll put up with my little woofer!!!

Annalyssa is a caring and responsible animal care provider. To start, I've seen her take care of her own pets with such a loving attitude... even when they have accidents! She shows great concern over other's pets as well. She is very willing to communicate as much as you wish about your pets while you're away, even if that means daily updates. When she is dog sitting, she treats the animals as her own. To Annalyssa, playtime and exercise is definitely important. She is one of the most active people I know and she loves to bring pets along. She loves to spend time outside, especially when she has company. Walk, fetch, tug-of-war, you name it! She's an extremely organized person, as well, and is great with any special instructions your pet needs (medications, food combinations, etc). If you want someone to care for your pet that will love them as much as you do, Annalyssa is your girl.

Information Annalyssa V. would like to know about your pet

What are his/her favorite toys, places to go outdoors, and activities that you do together? Do they have any allergies or sensitivities- if so, what? Are they prone to chewing on or urinating furniture when away from home, nervous or overwhelmed in an unfamiliar environment? (a.k.a. Territory marking, etc.) What are the best words/tools you use to calm your dog or help him/her sleep? Is there anywhere in your home that is off limits if I'm going to your home? Do they get along with other dogs? Cats? What are they like when going on walks passing by other dogs and people? How are they with little kids? Are there any special routines you follow such as first thing in the morning, going on walks, etc. or disciplinary measures you would like me to follow if they act out to ensure their stay or visit is as pleasant as possible with minimal stress? Have they had diarrhea within the last 24 hours? Why?
