I’ve had a dog since I was 7 years old and have always loved taking care of him. My dog although very friendly, didn’t like getting groomed so I have always been responsible for bathing, brushing, and cutting his nails myself. He is a lab/Akita mix who is approximately 15 or 16 years old. I adopted him when the shelter believed him to be 1 or 2 years old and have had him ever since. I got a second dog at the beginning of the summer due to a someone being unable to properly care for her. She is a very active and friendly 2 year old German Shepard mix.
