Annalee was great with my dog. I was initially concerned because he's not used to being in an apartment / city environment and I'm new to the Rover service. As it turned out, my concerns were unnecessary. Annalee and Niko were awesome hosts and caregivers and I couldn't be happier w/ my first Rover experience!

Annalee and Niko were super nice, and her dad is a vet nearby which brings piece of mind. However, we had to shorten our stay from 3 nights to 2 because the apartment/pairing was not a good fit for our dog. The neighbors had complained about him barking and there were people late at night on the streets which brought out new aggression and lunging. We had to figure out alternative care while out of town on the day of my friend’s wedding where I was in the wedding party. If your dog is reactive or high energy, boarding may not be a good option here. We’ve boarded him in Tipp Hill on a busy street with lots of dogs without having to cut it short, but a downtown apartment with Annalee and Niko was not a good option for us (we did a meet and greet before boarding, too). I’m sure Annalee would be great at walks/drop ins or boarding a dog that doesn’t have any issues. Rover was fantastic- we were able to cancel on the app and they would have assisted with finding us coverage if we were unable to do so, and have sent multiple emails following up on our situation. Definitely worth the services fees to have a safety net.
