I have always lived with dogs. Dogs have been my world since my earliest childhood memory, and i was raised in a home filled with them. These days i don't own a dog, but the need to be around dogs is ever present.

Annabelle and her family were terrific friends/hosts for our dog on a recent Sunday. Annabelle was very responsive during set up. And she took the time to ask, learn and then use our hoped for care instructions. Best, Annabelle and her family clearly love dogs and love incorporating dogs into their family routine, sharing photos over the day. The result: we were very comfortable leaving our pup with Annabelle and her family. And when we picked up our pup at day's end, our pup was happy and worn out. Annabelle and her family are great hosts. Highly recommend.
Annabelle and her family were extraordinary hosts for my dog this past weekend. They spent a lot of time playing with him and planning adventures around the neighborhood for them. I also received regular communication updates about how he was doing with them over the weekend. Her and her family were also very accommodating with his adjustment period to his stay.
Annabelle and her family are absolutely wonderful. They cared for my dog, Brenda, over Memorial Day weekend and were excellent canine hosts. My dog was happy and well tended. I had never boarded my dog prior to her stay with Annabelle, and I was very anxious and nervous about leaving my dog with strangers. But Annabelle and her family were exceedingly reassuring, comforting, and kind — and I soon realized that my dog was in caring, competent hands. And since I was staying close by (doing my own petsitting gig), Annabelle had no problem letting me come over each day to see my dog and take her out on little outings in the city. It was a great experience. Thank you Annabelle, Jason, and family!

Your dog will have access to our whole apartment, and is welcome on furniture and on the bed. Otherwise we will be outdoors with them a lot of the time. If your dog gets muddy or sandy, we have a large walk in shower and will happily wash them if they'll allow (peanut butter on the wall always works). Please note, for dogs who cant manage stairs, that our apartment is on the top floor, up 3 flights of stairs.

Please let me know your dog's meal plan, and any medications that they take. Please bring your dog's leash, harness, poop bags, as well as any toys and blankets that make your dog feel at home. Please note that, for now, i am taking requests from short-haired breeds only.
A typical day
Our favorite dog park is the Golden Gate Dog Training Area at 39th x Fulton. We also love the beach at Crissy Field for those water loving dogs. Our local off leash dog park at Kezar is great because we can sit and have picnics there too. We also enjoy discovering other dog parks and spots around the city.

Availability
We (2 adults, 2 tweens) are a dog loving family, and we will bring your dog wherever we go. Picnics with friends, shopping runs, outdoor dining. We have a car, so anywhere we go, your dog can come too. We always make time to visit (with your approval of course) off leash dog parks and beaches. Based on your dog's energy and preferences, we will balance outdoor adventures with indoor chilling.
