I like to introduce myself as a retired military wife, that traveled many places. Dogs,have always been my preference. These animals have a mind of a toddler. If you pay close attention you will see how dogs have a special way of interacting with people. I was raised with dogs all my life. I have two dogs, a Boston terrier by the name of sparkles and a chihuahua by the name of margarita. They both are precious. I have plenty of room in my house for my little friends. The only thing that will be required is an up to date shot record, also treatment for fleas, and if the dog is aggressive that will be completely dismissed. I have a responsibility to keep all dogs safe.I know that all dogs are great escape artists so whenever a door gets opened they will be put in a huge dog playpen to keep them safe, dogs are like children they get into things for attention and become anxious when the owner is away. They need to feel comfortable with the sitter, therefore the sitter needs to focus strong attention to dogs that feel distressed when owners are away. It is important at all times to let the owner know how the dog is doing, and what helps the dog feel at ease even if the owner calls and the dog listens to the owners voice on speaker that also makes a dog feel at calm. I had an elderly poodle that died in my hands it was a lot of work, bc I had two puppies at that time so it was like having three puppies with the elderly poodle. It was a rewarding experience. I want the owner to know that there dog will be in good hands.I also will take dogs that have special needs, and the elderly ones that need a lot of love.
