Pet care experience
I grew up with a dog always in the house. When I became an adult, I missed the companionship of a dog, but I knew I was not in a position to have a dog of my own. I fostered multiple dogs and while I love the experience, I am looking to assist with dogs and get paid for my time.

I do not currently offer dogs in my home. I have two cats at home who are not big fans of dogs. While walking the dogs, I know I can be a safe companion because I know the area well and I have experience walking foster dogs of a variety of personalities.

When walking a dog, it’s important to know any triggers that dog has such as people, animals or other objects. Additionally, I like to know the dog’s walking tendencies and things to look out for. This helps me and the dog have a more enjoyable walk, and also helps me understand what normal behavior is, and I can identify unusual behavior.
A typical day
In my opinion, a walk can be the best part of a dog’s day and my goal is maximize their experience. I like to mix up the routes I go on so that they can take in new smells and sights. I like to stay on paths that go through a variety of scenery such as through wooded areas.

I love to go for walks and runs in the area. I am happy to walk other dogs before and after work. It would motivate me to have a buddy.
