Pet care experience
Sadly, my nearly 16-year-old Cairn Terrier recently died, and so now I'm hoping to fill a need for other dog families while they go away for the weekend. I’ve had a dog for most of my life and helped dog sit for friends and family, too.

My goal will be to make your pup feel safe and loved while you're away. I would relish playing with and getting to know your dog(s). Though my yard isn't fenced-in, I have a cable for dogs to do their business and peep the neighborhood action. I would take your dog for regular walks around my neighborhood or visit nearby parks. If deemed safe by you, I would also take them the dog park that's a short drive away. Though I would want your dog to be potty-trained, I'm also keen on cleaning up from those accidents that just happen sometimes.

Though most of my experience is with small- to medium-sized dogs, I've been around larger dogs as well. My last dog was nearly 16-years-old, so I'm also familiar with the needs of a senior dog as well. I would want to know if they have any quirks or special needs, because we all do. Any information you give about what makes your dog feel safe and satisfied will help me know how to create a great experience for them.
A typical day
I love to play and take walks with your dogs. My last dog was nearly 16, so I'm used to taking my time or going fast, as I love to run too. Spring Lake Park is my favorite, along with the nearby dog park.

Availability
I work full-time as a Youth Director at an ELCA Lutheran Church in Mankato. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to work from home or stop home as needed with the exception of Wednesday afternoons/evenings and Sunday mornings.
