Full Time Pet Lovers / Vet Tech Exp
Pet care experience
Joseph and I are both dedicated, 24/7 animal lovers. We both work part-time, but between the two of us we almost never leave the animals alone. If we do, it is never more than 1-2 hours. We have dogs, cats, small animals, and reptiles of our own. We treat all pets like family, and we are so excited to welcome your furry friends into our home! I work at Medlock Bridge Animal Hospital in PTC. I have been there for 5 years now as a veterinary technician and receptionist, and I absolutely love it. I have experience caring for seniors, special needs animals, diabetic pets, administering oral and injectable medications, and more. The veterinarian I work for also treats small animals and exotics such as rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, birds, and reptiles!! Joseph works at Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament as Sir Didymus, "Lord Marshall", where he rides and works with the incredible horses there at the castle. Like me, Joe grew up with animals and has a strong affection for them. He helps me with all of the animals we care for, including walks and drop-in visits when applicable. DROP OFF AND PICK UP: Please be aware that if you d/o or p/u Thursday-Saturday morning, Joe may be the only one here. On Fridays, there may be a 1-2 hour period in the evening when no one is home until I get off at 6 pm. Thank you!! *Anna's Schedule: Thursdays 7AM-2PM | Fridays 8AM-6PM | Saturdays 8AM-1PM | *Joe's Schedule: Joe usually performs 1-2 shows every weekend (Fri-Sun). His call time varies based on scheduled showtimes at Medieval Times.
Reviews
Joseph and Anna we very attentive and Frosty was very happy and taken care of. Looking forward our next visit.
Anna and Joseph are wonderful with Gracie! She’s always happy to see them!
Anna and Joseph are great with cats! We really appreciate them taking great care of our pets while we were out of town. Would definitely recommend.
Anna is a gem. Our boys love her and we feel so comfortable whenever we have to leave them. She is fantastic and we won’t have anyone else care for them! ❤️

BOARDING ▪️We require a meet and greet prior to your first booking to introduce your pet to our home and be sure that they will enjoy their stay with us. ▪️Boarding pets must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations and be on a monthly flea preventative. ▪️ Dogs must wear a collar with identification ▪️We start our day at 6 am and last potty break is 9:30-10 pm. We feed breakfast at 7 am and dinner around 4:30-5 pm. Potty breaks are provided hourly throughout the day as well as extended play times in the yard. ▪️While boarding, we monitor all interactions between dogs to make sure everyone is getting along and playing nicely. We have a large fenced in yard, and dogs are never left alone or unsupervised outside. ▪️Our chain link fence is 4’ tall, so we cannot safely allow dogs to be off leash if they are known to jump fences. Instead, we are happy to provide two 30 minute leash walks per day, with additional leashed potty breaks. ▪️We feed all dogs in separate crates or rooms to avoid any issues with resource guarding. If your dog usually free feeds, we cannot leave food out but we can make sure to offer your pet their food multiple times throughout the day. ▪️ If we have to leave your pet alone in the home for any reason, all dogs will be safely separated using rooms, gates, and crates, depending on how many other dogs are currently being boarded. ▪️ We allow dogs to sleep in our bed and have many dogs beds in our room for them to use as well. If accidents are an issue, your pet will sleep in a crate in our bedroom with a bed and blanket.

Information Anna & Joseph W. would like to know about your pet
♦ We have 6 cats, so it's important to know if your dog is cat friendly prior to his or her stay. If your dog has never met a cat before, that's OK! We will observe your pup at the meet and greet to make sure they will get along. Our cats are used to new dogs coming and going. ♦ We may ask for proof that your pet is up to date on vaccinations, and that they are on a flea prevention. It is very important to make sure that all the dogs (and cats) here are protected. ☺ ♦ We may ask some other questions about your pet before sitting him or her so that we can do our best to give them the most comfortable, friendly, and familiar environment we can.
A typical day
Our screened in back porch is a perfect spot for us to hang out during the day, and the dogs can come and go from the shaded and cool porch to the sunny backyard to play. In between playing we stay inside to cool off and hang out downstairs. The main floor is dedicated to the dogs, with plenty of indoor space to play as well as crates for feeding and/or quiet time. We DO recommend that you bring your dog's bed or blanket, although we do have plenty of blankets here. We do NOT recommend bringing any stuffed toys or valuable toys, because there is a good chance they will not come home in one piece! We have plenty (way too many) toys of all kind here.
